In the lecture a life as an autistic person with ADHD, our spokesperson, Silke Ena Svare, talks about her experiences with the primary school, the education system and the labor market when you have a brain that is not like the average, neurotypical brain.
With skinless honesty and a good dose of humor, Silke tells in part 1 called: "how did I end up here", among other things about why she screamed at her classmates because she could not get a cream bun with coconut, how long a national test can take when the computer can no longer keep up, and how it went when she was diagnosed with autism at the age of 16. In part 2 of the lecture: “what I wish my parents had known” Silke talks about her favorite tools for getting through the day when you have an autistic brain.
The lecture ends with 15-20 minutes to ask Silke questions about everything between heaven and earth.
